I agree 100% When my attachment isn't as strong (like when I start to slack with my patience and such) I see more behavior problems. As soon as I invest some time and energy to strengthen our bond, I see more obedience. It's so amazing to me that God designed it like this! Children teach us and shape our character as much or more than we do for them!
I whole-heartedly agree. Especially in regards to parenting with trust and respect. Children are individual people who have individual needs and thoughts and feelings. If I expect my children to treat me with respect, shouldn't they expect the same from me?

anonymous, I see the same thing with patience and behavior. Sometimes they just need to reconnect.
