Stronger Together Online Quilt for Birth Disappointment, Birth Trauma, and PPD Awareness

One of the saddest things to connect so many of the contributors of this blog is our birth experiences, and it is clear that many of you share our experiences.  Birth disappointment, trauma, and postpartum depression are all too often overlooked in our society, leaving mothers to face the darkness alone.  So we'd like to invite you to join us in raising awareness about this important issue by adding to our Stronger Together online quilt.  No matter where you are at in your personal birth journey, we want to show the world the true face of these issues - vulnerable but strong, joyful but sad, and scared but courageous.

Participation is simple:
- Image should be 250x250 pixels
- You may use a photograph of an actual collage or quilt piece, an edited photo, or a digital image - use your imagination!
- All submitted work must be original
- You agree to let us use the art to raise awareness about PPD and birth disappointment and trauma.

Please email your image to connectedmom@gmail.com or add it to the Stronger Together subgroup's page at the new Connected Mom Community!

What a beautiful idea! I'll take some time to consider my submission. I am better with words than images, but I really want to contribute!
