I can't imagine having it that compressed, but you did it mama! You did it! That's fantastic. I love your honesty. My mother had completely natural labors with all three of us and she always told me that it hurt like hell, but that I was strong enough to bear it and the end was worth all of the pain. (Her last labor was an hour and a half, too.) I was not afraid of labor before or during the experience because of her honesty.Shawnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08656166197748243958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5218215652328409330.post-48846793233216423562011-07-17T05:23:56.459-05:002011-07-17T05:23:56.459-05:00Thanks for sharing. I am really nervous about labout the second time around as I had a very long, draw-out labour with my daughter that ended in an emergency situation for her and an airlift to another hospital. I'm almost positive things won't go the same way again, but I have vivid memories of all that time, pain and mental endurance to deliver naturally and I'm terrified of doing it again. Still, it's the hardest thing I've ever done and nothing has filled me with more pride that labour. I think that's what I'll tell my daughter. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
